Rockets in the Trees is the collective name for lyricist Kevan Faulkner and composer Alan Neilson. It took three years to write, arrange and record the eleven songs on the album, each track constructed with absolute precision and attention to detail. The entire process was intimately documented on the Rockets in the Trees website (alan-neilson.wixsite.com/rocketsinthetrees), from the initial lyric drafts, to early demos, then disagreements and endings to new beginnings.

Praise has already been given from Talk Talk engineer/producer Phill Brown, after hearing the band’s homage to the late Mark Hollis on ‘Into the Spirit’.

This super deluxe edition of the album features 39 tracks: the 11 original mixes, plus 28 additional mixes; a 40 page PDF booklet of extra artwork, before and after lyric sheets and the story of the making of the album; and also a second PDF booklet with all the song's lyrics and chords for you to play along with.
